Electric cars
Start with the journey you make every day. Range, battery size and charging only become useful numbers when you know how far you drive and where the car parks.
Charged where it parks
Most charging happens where a car already sits for hours: at home overnight or at work during the day. The setup you need depends on how far you drive and where the car stays.

Electric SUVs
More room for people and gear, with the battery low in the chassis. Think about passengers, road conditions and the distance you cover each day.

Quiet from the first metre
Electric motors deliver their pulling power from a standstill and run almost silently, which makes stop-start city traffic calmer to drive.
Sized around your day
School runs, site visits and weekend trips come down to one question: how far you travel in a day. That shapes the battery and charging setup worth considering.

Electric motorcycles
For commutes and dispatch runs, the route is the brief. Daily distance, payload and charging between shifts matter more than a headline range.

Fewer parts to wear out
There is no engine oil, clutch, spark plug or exhaust to service. Tyres, brakes, the chain or belt, and suspension still need regular checks.
Built around the route
For riders and dispatch fleets, the useful questions are daily distance, load, and where the bikes can charge between shifts.

Electric bicycles
A lighter answer for short commutes, estates and light deliveries. You pedal; a small motor helps with the effort.

Charged from a wall socket
E-bike batteries are small enough to charge from an ordinary socket, or from a home solar and battery system, and many can be removed and carried indoors.
Small, but still a vehicle
Lights, brakes and tyres matter as much as the motor. Check the local rules on where e-bikes may be ridden before you plan a route.

Electric delivery vans
A van that returns to the depot has a natural place to charge overnight. Map the route and payload before choosing the vehicle or the charger.

Charged at the depot overnight
Vans that return to the same yard every night can charge there, so drivers start each route with a full battery instead of queueing for fuel.
Plan the fleet, not just the van
Route lengths, payload and how many vehicles charge at the same time decide how much charging capacity a depot needs.

Electric forklifts
Move through enclosed warehouses without tailpipe fumes. Match lifting needs and shift patterns to the truck and its charging plan.

Quieter, cleaner aisles
Less noise and no fumes make for a better working environment across long, busy shifts.
Charging built into the shift
Forklifts are usually charged between shifts or during breaks, so charging points belong in the warehouse layout from the start.

Charging, and where solar fits
The vehicle is only half the system. A useful charging plan starts with where it parks, how long it stays and what power is available.

Can solar charge an electric vehicle?
Yes. A charger is an electrical load like any other. How much solar can cover depends on daily distance, panel capacity, battery storage, and whether the vehicle is parked while the sun is up.
Start with the connector
Plug standards differ between vehicles and regions, so confirm the vehicle's connector type before choosing a charger.

The battery-electric platform
A battery pack sits low between the axles while electric drive units turn the wheels. Capacity, charging and heat management shape how the platform performs.

Familiar ground for an energy team
Capacity, charge rate, heat and lifespan are the questions that shape a solar battery, and they're the same ones that shape an electric vehicle.

Electric mobility, answered
Does Joshville Global sell electric vehicles?
Joshville Global Auto & Energy takes enquiries about electric cars, SUVs, motorcycles, e-bikes, delivery vans, forklifts and charging. This page does not list specific models, prices or stock, and the vehicles shown are illustrations. Send an enquiry and our team will follow up on what you need.
Can I charge an electric vehicle with solar power?
Yes. An electric vehicle charger is an electrical load like any other. How much of the charging solar can cover depends on how far the vehicle travels each day, the size of the solar array, whether there is battery storage, and whether the vehicle is parked while the sun is up.
Do electric vehicles need servicing?
Less than petrol or diesel vehicles, but not none. There is no engine oil, spark plug or exhaust to service. Tyres, brakes, suspension, cooling systems and the battery's condition still need regular checks.
Why are electric forklifts used indoors?
Electric forklifts produce no exhaust fumes at the point of use and are quieter than diesel or gas trucks, which makes them suitable for enclosed warehouses, cold rooms and food handling areas.
What is a battery-electric platform?
It is the shared underbody of most modern electric cars: a flat battery pack mounted between the axles, with electric drive units at the wheels. Keeping the heavy battery low and central improves stability and frees up space in the cabin.
