Solar panel prices in Nigeria vary because panels that look similar can differ in rated wattage, cell technology, bifacial capability, physical size, warranty and manufacturer quality control. The cheapest panel is not automatically the cheapest way to build a reliable array.

Divide the panel price by its rated watts to get a simple cost-per-watt comparison. For example, a ₦133,000 535W panel works out at roughly ₦249 per rated watt. Why larger panels can reduce the complete project cost
Higher-wattage panels can reach a target array size with fewer modules. Fewer panels may mean fewer rails, clamps, connectors and installation points. The inverter's voltage and current limits still control the final string design, so wattage alone cannot determine compatibility.

- Exact panel brand, model and rated wattage.
- Quantity and total DC array capacity in kilowatts.
- Mounting rails, clamps, roof attachments and weather sealing.
- PV cable, MC4-compatible connectors, isolators, breakers and surge protection.
